What a weird cameo. Like you have to know a lot of deep cut canceled Superman movie lore for this reference to even make sense. I had never heard that Nick Cage was going to be Superman for a minute. I don't associate Superman with fighting spiders. And it goes on for so long. Deeply strange choice, the DC movie people are lost up their own asses

DC needs to give up seriousness and lean in to campness. They also need to give their animation people full creative control over their live-action movies. Now that's a group that truly understands how batshit crazy the DC universe is, and how to properly use it for both heartwarming and comedic potential.
