Honestly my suspicion is that this is the main reason why the liberal state bureaucrats have not already put orange-boi behind bars. Like they must be at least a bit aware that if they do when he's so clearly the favorite that it would have serious repercussions in terms of their legitimacy and that of Trump and the associated faction of the Republicans.

Not only has he threatened people - he's even threatened people in the courtroom: clerks. And his lawyers have been aggressive to the clerks too. Legal minds on tv try to avoid saying the obvious directly. If he's not stopped - he's going to get somebody injured or killed. And it will probably be somebody like the low-level person like a clerk because - of course - they don't have a security detail and all it takes is buying some credit reports to learn all about them, their parents, their kids, etc.
