Yes, the word [hostages] is in brackets in the abc article because it was a correction made by the whitehouse to abc. The whitehouse hadn't released a transcript yet when I made the original post, so I screenshotted this abc article.
The full transcript is even more absurd than you can imagine. As the woman calling for ceasefire is escorted away, the crowd chants "four more years".
