It says I started with core sleep around 1:45-2 am, but I know for a fact I wasn’t asleep until 2:30 bc I was in bed watching yt videos to help me fall asleep and I was checking the time as well. I remember seeing the time say 2:30 and I was like “ok if I slept rn I’d get a solid 7 hours of sleep”.

Well I’m checking my health app and it’s saying I got over 8 hours of sleep bc it thought I was sleeping well before I actually fell asleep.

Does this mean that my heart rate just went really low as a resting HR and it got confused for sleep? Is there a way I can make sure it tracks ONLY my sleep?

(PS: I noticed the arm I wear the watch on was feeling a little tingly, I was debating taking the watch off but I like tracking my sleep so I kept it on)

It starts tracking when your sleep focus starts. So even if you don’t go to bed by then, it will start up. Most likely if you were in bed when it started, and weren’t moving around much, it would consider you at rest. Why it would show that as deep sleep is pretty odd, but their sleep tracking is not consistently reliable.
