How distracting is the dynamic island on the IPhone 15 Plus? (alien.top)

Gonna be upgrading from SE 2020 tomorrow. Can’t decide between the 14 Plus or the 15 Plus, especially when it comes to the island vs the notch. I’m a heavy user when it comes to gaming and watching videos. I don’t use Face ID. Pros and cons between the two?

(I have ADHD so I get distracted easily enough already 🤣)

Both of them have Face ID so that is irrelevant. If you are used to the fingerprint scanner on the SE, that does not exist anymore currently unless you’re on iPad.

The base model 15’s this year are fantastic, as in there is a much smaller gap between the base and pro versions.

Have you held a plus phone in your hand? Are you sure you’re ready for the size upgrade coming from an SE? I would say 15 plus based on your two options. The price difference is worth it imo. Dynamic island is much more useful than the notch which does nothing.

But I think you should consider the 15 or 15 pro. The size of the phone will be more similar to the SE but it will still have an increased screen size. If you want a smoother and clearer screen with 120hz refresh rate (vs 60) go with the 15 pro or pro max.
