Portrait mode crashes camera on iOS 17.1 (alien.top)

Hi, so I’ve been facing this issue on my iPhone 12 for a while. Storage is 64GB. I ensure there’s atleast 15-20GB of free storage left in my iPhone at all times.

Lately I’ve noticed that taking portrait shots end up crashing the camera app. A black screen pops up for a few seconds, then switches back to the camera view finder, but no portrait taken.

It’s happened way too often. Rebooting the iPhone hasn’t helped.

Anyone got helpful advice? Will be much appreciated.

I’m also facing the same issue with iPhone 13 after upgrading to iOS 17.1
