I received my new phone yesterday but with all the bad press and problems I’m thinking of just returning it. I haven’t even opened the box. What would you do?

It had a few issues which have all been solved. Other than the rare outlier that has a manufacturing defect you'll be fine.

I've had my 15 Pro Max since day one zero issues.

Long story short don't buy into all the internet hysteria and enjoy your new phone.
