Unable to add Gmail to my Apple Mail (new phone) (alien.top)

Hey kids,

New iPhone. It won’t let me add my Gmail account via the big GOOGLE button or manually.

Anyone else? Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello! When you go to add account, you get those choices: Microsoft, AOL, Google, etc. if you punch the Google one, you get a login which asks for your Google ID, but submitting it breaks it: “Login” appears over what you’ve just entered and it doesn’t submit.

Adding manually also doesn’t work. It says “Google can’t be reached now” or some such.
