WatchOS 10.1 killed my watch (alien.top)

When my Nike watch series 5 updated, I went from getting at least a full days use to completely dead in under 6 hours. Did all the basic troubleshooting and texted support. They set up a call and Apple support once again agreed that I’ve done everything. Sending it in to get checked out. My wrist feels so naked after years of wearing it daily lol. I’ve got apple care on the watch, but it’s an old watch. Anyone have any idea on what normally happens with situations like this?

Also ensure your iPhone is updated to latest iOS (17.1?) as having an earlier version can cause the battery drain issue for some.
