11 days ago I bought a new mac, was quite sure this is the right machine for me. Shortly after they announced the Apple event. Now that we now the stats:

Would you return the MBP 14“ 12 core cpu + 19 core gpu with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd bought for 2650€

for a m3 pro with 11 core cpu / 14 core gpu / 18gb ram / 512 gb for 2499€

For what I see I get 2 gb more ram but 1 core less cpu and 5 cores less gpu. I know we don’t know yet how much better the m3 is to the m2.

Would you personally return this?

Doesn’t seem worth it IMO. I’d stick with it.

16 vs 18 won’t make a difference unless you run AI models in your system.

Also- I think RAM bandwidth is lower in the new one.
