8gb of ram still ruins it, no matter how fast the chip is, still bottle necked, on purpose

It’s to keep the price under $2k. If the minimum was 16gb and the min price went up people would be complaining also.

I don’t get it, factor in the additional cost. Not sure how it is ruined for you

It probably costs apple $30 or even less to add an extra 8gb of ram. Macbook ram isnt special.
