I would be absolutely embarrassed if I actually believed (and commented) an undrafted D2 QB was going to come in and be a franchise QB after watching him play one week and throwing for 160 yards.

Fellas, give these people some grace. They are having a tough Monday.

Oh you mean have hope? Yeah, good point. Shouldn’t ever have hope with the Bears anymore. It wouldn’t have been impossible for him to be good, like actually good, but it was extremely unlikely and us hoping he would be really good isn’t wrong. Don’t judge people for wanting their team’s players to do well.

I mean Fields has thrown for over 300 yards once in 3 years. Only over 250 yards 5 times.

It isn't like we have had a good passing game in the past 3 years.

Like Trubisky was ass, but was a better passer than Fields has been.

And if you expected an undrafted D2 QB to come in and do what the most accurate NCAA passer of all time couldn't, I would be embarrassed and question what I actually know about the sport of football.
