I’m just curious if it’s because there was a particular app or a workflow that motivated you to get a MacBook? Or just the Apple ecosystem?

Battery life, time to boot+standby mode, no loud fan, and longevity of usefulness. With a laptop after a year I would get frustrated and I would see people with ancient MacBooks. There’s a reasons - almost 3 years in and it still works like new
