I’m just curious if it’s because there was a particular app or a workflow that motivated you to get a MacBook? Or just the Apple ecosystem?

Got burned trying to settle for a premium Windows laptop (XPS 15) as a personal machine. It was just crap

For work I need macOS (Xcode), but employer always provides a laptop anyway, so this doesn't influence my personal machine pick
