Why did you buy a MacBook? (alien.top)

I’m just curious if it’s because there was a particular app or a workflow that motivated you to get a MacBook? Or just the Apple ecosystem?

Genuinely just curious.

The Apple ecosystem mainly. But I do really like the build quality and battery life. I can program on it, game on it (lots of retro and some modern), edit photos, run VMs. I could do all this on a PC and I have in the past. I enjoyed Thinkpads and still have the ones I owned but I don't like the user experience when it comes to most laptops out there. Frameworks does seem pretty cool so maybe they'll be my next laptop.
