Do you really need more than 8GB of Ram on a 13in MacBook Air? (alien.top)

I am going to be purchasing a MacBook in January and have pretty much decided on the 13in Air but do you really need 16GB of ram? It will be used for School Work, Gaming and Photo editing.

Yes, you do, and should pay the extra cash for longevity's sake. With how much memory apps use nowadays, 8GB shouldn't even be offered any longer.

8GB is a good for those basic clerical roles that use email/web apps/notepad/etc.
