An Apple home focused device with a screen that runs standby widgets sounds like a great product

And it strikes me that all that work to put standby on the iPhone was probably done first for a HomePod product and ported to iPhone second.

But it’s really gonna suck if this product is only available in the form of an even more premium HomePod.
