Do you really need more than 8GB of Ram on a 13in MacBook Air? (alien.top)

I am going to be purchasing a MacBook in January and have pretty much decided on the 13in Air but do you really need 16GB of ram? It will be used for School Work, Gaming and Photo editing.

The answer is yes. The instant you said "gaming and photo editing" the conversation is over. You're going to see less swap by having more available RAM. That has an impact on performance when doing these kind of activities.
