There is a simple solution - talk to democrats and make a compromise.

They can't do that. And that's not a political thing. They literally can't do that. Until a speaker is elected the House is closed (except for speaker votes). If the funding period ends with out a speaker, then the government shutdowns regardless of what either party wants. Since Republicans hold a majority, there is very little the Democrats can contribute.

Dems are also voting on Speaker. Repubs need to work with Dems to elect a Speaker.
