There is a simple solution - talk to democrats and make a compromise.
They can't do that. And that's not a political thing. They literally can't do that. Until a speaker is elected the House is closed (except for speaker votes). If the funding period ends with out a speaker, then the government shutdowns regardless of what either party wants. Since Republicans hold a majority, there is very little the Democrats can contribute.
Dems are also voting on Speaker. Repubs need to work with Dems to elect a Speaker.

You're not wrong but damn op didn't deserve that
I don't agree, however thick you might think I am. I think there are enough Republicans who want a functioning government despite idealogical differences, even extreme ones, about how that looks.
The question is whether any of them have the courage to put country first. And sadly, the answer is probably 'no'.
