I know it's a joke and all that. But do people really not get the line? I mean, sometimes it's hard to grasp the lyrics of rap songs, especially when they're rapping so fast and using obscure metaphors and references. But this one is delivered quite calmly and could be taken quite literally.

So I found Found this. So he's talking about the character he plays. I always tought the movie was autobiographical and that Marshall Mathers played as himself...

Also if the line is not literal, does he simply mean that Jimmy's life is a mess?

Jimmy ate a dinner of spaghetti that his mother prepared. Jimmy was extremely nervous and threw up a bit. Some dinner came out of his mouth and got on his sweater.

Frankly, Jimmy is challenging himself. This will lead to Jimmy learning new things, even if this is embarrassing.

That's what I always thought, but based on what the other guy said there seemed to be a less literal meaning or something
