Also, I didn't see this myself because I don't watch streamers, but my sources say:

The twitch stream chat blew a fucking fuse when the guy giving a presentation had the sheer loving effontry to wear a rainbow flag on his jumpsuit. And kept blowing it for at least half an hour.

as for gameplay, they showed that ships will have two modes, navigation and combat. in navigation mode you cant fucking steer and you have no shields or guns but your ship goes faster. Ships will use control surfaces rather than thrusters in atmosphere, which is presumably their solution for noclip flight. No details whatsoever on how that will work for ships that are just giant bricks. I presume they will still noclip for freedom.

they also showed a 'precision aiming mode' where the guy blew the turrets off a larger ship in about 5 seconds using the power of autoaim. Great if you're a fighter pilot. Bad news if you're a turret gunner. They remember they sold giant ships for huge piles of cash, right? Right?

'our AI was too good because it had perfect aim LOL' lead AI programmer giving key insights available only to the most experienced devs in gaming. Also, to any rando who jammed the accuracy setting of UT bots to 100% when they were 12 to see what it was like.
