The USSR is now called NATO? The organization that was created to oppose the USSR and doesn't include the vast majority of former Soviet states? I've seen some dumb takes in my life, but this might be one of the dumbest.

It's so frustratingly close underneath all the stupid brainworms, because of course, one of the participants in WWII was actually incorporated into the structures of power in the West but it sure as hell wasn't the Soviets

Everything I don't like is retroactively communism.

These people think they're above the propaganda, but they just have to cling to the anticommunism like a security blanket.
