Oh no but my golf pants are so much more comfortable than slacks!

they are? I never understood that. My lululemon pants are my least comfortable pants. They stretch... because they're so tight that they pull while I move and need to stretch. All of my pants that actually fit well are way more comfortable, because they have enough room for me to move in without pulling at all.

Maybe you just need activewear that fits better?

I don't really wear activewear at all, but if, by "fits better," you mean "is so tight that it needs to stretch," then... heelllll no.

Lululemon makes relaxed fit pants now, but they don't stretch unless you reach down with your hands and pull, because why would they stretch? You can do gymnastics in them without ever pulling at them, what is the fucking point of elastene except planned obsolescence?

I mean the opposite. It shouldn't need to stretch while you're just wearing it, only when you body is in unusual positions like deep squats &c. Sounds like yours are too tight.

It shouldn't need to stretch when your body is in unusual positions like deep squats. My chinos don't need to, my sweatpants don't need to, my dress pants don't need to. I can do squats in slim-cut 100% wool dress pants, no problem.

Only my lululemon pants need to stretch.
