As someone who was just caping for Tool here, I need to point out that Tool fans are fucking insufferable a good portion of the time. They are too fixated on pseudo-profound bullshit and numerological codes and peyote trips, and it's not like that wasn't facilitated by the band itself (Maynard especially).

Always hated the neo-reactionary thing in US culture of hating hippies. Sure, some of them are new-age crackpots, but most are more open, fun and interesting than the majority of people.
