True. I sometimes think I can run a joke into the ground and then I run into a "I identify as an attack helicopter" guy ten years on.

I'm still angry over that one, but mostly cause I initially thought the premise of the joke was criticizing some of the weirder tumblr stuff for appropriating trans language and trivializing the realities of trans people's lives.
