A game that exists to provide escapism to people and give them a chance to pretend they're driving their dream car that reality could never provide, locks out said dream cars. neat.
I do want to get back into track racing games but the options are either full sim or full arcade. Idk when the last real forza came out and I rather play on PC. I love letting my eyes lose focus and follow the track.
I really enjoy BeamNG, it's a sandbox where you can just drive around. Or crash into stuff.
Not really a racing game tho.
Edit: ETS2 also scratches that driving while zoning out itch.
I bought BeamNG almost a decade ago I think. Its a lot of fun but i find it a bit aimless. I more or less want to learn a course and car and fine tune my reaction and anticipation of the course.
I should give it another try, i'm sure there's been a lot of updates.
Yeah, it being a sandbox makes it a bit a make your own fun kind of game, but you can also do official and modded missions and there are multiplayer mods.
