The many skulls feel a bit over the top. Maybe some smaller ones?
I’m going to differ. His fav is hot pink leopard print, so the concept too much is out of scale.

I remember those shirts kind of gained popularity in the 90s during the swing revivalist movement. I had a an all black one with black velvet front panels. It worked well at dressier events as well.
I would agree with this, everything else is great though.
