Manitoba never considered ourselves part of that in the first place.

Manitoba didn't, but that didn't stop Alberta from thinking they were in.

Neither does BC, and as far as I can tell most people in BC also don't consider the prairies to be "the west," so the name "Wexit" is incredibly funny to me.
