lmao burning complex materials w/o regard to their composition or potential health complications they can cause (not to mention, ya know, the pollution it generates)
The US military is very bright though, and they will definitely win all wars they fight
The US doesn't really lose in the same sense because they fight in other people's countries. Making huge areas uninhabitable or full of mutagens it's 100% fine by them. It's not just incompetence, they don't give a shit.
They also bring this attitude to their US bases, they're just more isolated.
