Well I already have a Switch, and Steam Decks are expensive. So, should I spend $20 on a new game, or $600 on a new platform?

I mean it's a new "platform" but your library is available in any PC you can log into steam on, so if you get a PC down the road all your games are there lol

While it's still expensive, you can get the base model Steam Deck for $400 and put in a $50 512GB SSD off of Amazon. The only reason to buy anything other than the $400 model is if money is no concern and you want the etched screen and a premium case. The SSD swap takes like 5 minutes.
