Disagree. The article is essentially about what they don't like about base F-Zero. Personally? I'm 22 so I only played it on emulators, but SNES F-Zero is one of my favorite racing games and OG SNES Mario Kart is total ass. It sounds like this person just wanted Mario Kart 99, but I think that'd be way too much going on to be fun with 99 other people. This is disliking something over expectations for something that doesn't exist, and I don't think the expectations for Mario Kart 99 are even worth meeting. Can you imagine how annoying 100 people having power ups at once would be?
If you like F-Zero, you'll love F-Zero 99. If you don't like F-Zero, play one of the hundreds of arcade racing games that has had online multiplayer built in or modded in for the past 20 years.
I feel like they could've done more though...

3D graphics, maybe? A new game entirely?
I mean yeah, I also want a new F Zero, and also cynical towards the battle royale remake trend. But the article is about how they should have done the same with with an old Mario Kart game. You're not interacting with the text that you posted. Saying you want a different game is not a valid criticism of a game.
Plus, would 3D make having all 100 cars on track better, or would it just make the netcode shit out and be visually harder to understand? 100 cars on a stage is harder to make playable than just throwing 100 cars on a track. Any of the 3D F-Zero games would border on unplayable if we just threw 100 cars on the track.
