Same thing for Fight Club. Its based on a book written by a gay man about toxic masculinity but dudes watch it like its aspirational

I've always got to be careful when I point out that fight club was one of the most influential movies of my teenage years.

I didn't miss the whole point, ok???

The guy who introduced me to Fight Club was one of those "Tyler Durden is right about everything" types. Colored my view of the movie for years.
