If any change is to come to the 6+6 model, it will likely be after the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Apparently, changes have to be unanimous until the contract is done. Aresco and PAC-2 going to extract some concessions if anything is gonna happen.

Yes, after the contract is up, it's going to be a case of "What is the minimum we can do both to keep the G5 from suing the P4 and keep the ACC/B12 from publicly lobbying against the SEC/B1G?"

Backfill will be interesting. They went heavy on Texas schools in the last round, likely expecting SMU to depart to the PAC. Army is a low-friction choice if they're willing, and UConn for football would work if the Huskies have given up on anything more lucrative. I think the AAC's TV contract is far enough beyond the SBC that they could poach from them, and ODU and GSU sort of fit the profile as urban schools in medium-to-large metros.
