The First International Syndicalist Congress was a meeting of European and Latin American syndicalist organizations at Holborn Town Hall in London that began on this day in 1913. The congress was attended by 38 delegates representing 65 organizations from Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, with a total membership between 220,000 and 250,000.

Despite being marked by heated disagreements over both tactics and principles, the Congress succeeded in creating the International Syndicalist Information Bureau as a vehicle of exchange and solidarity between the various organizations, and the "Bulletin international du mouvement syndicaliste" as a means of communication. It would be viewed as a success by almost all who participated.

I sincerely hope there's no pokemon mainline game or generation 10 next year

That would be too fast even for modern day Game Freak. Gen 10 will be in 2025 on the Switch 2 I think. Oh god but when are the B&W remakes due for? I don't want to experience their butchering. doomjak

I don't want to experience their butchering.

Idk what you mean, I will die on the hill that

A. Scarlet and violet are the best pokemon games that gamefreak has made, even with the lack of refinement/polish. Games just need more time in the oven.

B. Black and white is nowhere near as good as its online reputation hypes it up to be, especially the storyline (quality of the writing is much worse than scarlet/violet or sun/moon imo)

But it's just my own opinion so feel free to disagree

But BD/SP really set the bar low for remakes

I'd argue that legends arceus was the "true" remake that gamefreak actually wanted to make since they did it in-house instead of outsourcing it

I personally don't care for sinnoh or hisui at all but I heard that people who do actually like sinnoh generally loved it.

[–] Teekeeus@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I think let's go was a solid entry and I'd like a johto sequel but I don't think it's gonna happen
