What is more scary?

-the fact that there is no veting process and the only representative they managed to find is some SS guy

Tbf the Canadian Ukrainian community is/was chock full of "former" nazis until they started dying from old age (a better fate than they deserved). There's a reason there's a bunch of monuments to Ukrainian Nazis in Canada, there was a deliberate effort to bring them over post-war to balance out earlier waves of poorer, more left wing Ukrainian immigrants that played a big part in the general strikes of 1918-1925. And what better way to do that than bring over a bunch of right wing petty bourgeois thugs to crack skulls and generally influence the existing diaspora

I remember that there used to be big ass disputes between the ukrainian diaspora's centers you have the right wing one and one's who are more into left wing radical ideas. There are talk of uniting the russian diaspora, poles, ukrainians into one wing of the slavic labour movement, but it didn't end up anywhere
