I blame this on Ulysses Grant. As a general and then as a president, Grant should have spat on Lee's face and decimated the south, not gone easy on them. The South and anyone with this poster's views should have been stamped out and executed

Grant all but crushed the South, destroying the first KKK and implementing the first anti-segregation laws. It's after Grant's presidency things went downhill.
