The story I'm starting hear is "ecocide," i.e., the Russians are so cartoonishly and moustache-twirlingly evil that they've decided they want to kill Mother Nature. Just because.
I wonder what those completely honest environmentalists say when they hear about the ecological impact of Nordstream bombing.
Especially considering German Green party which i'm sure is totally doing everything in their power to bring to justice people responsible for that double sabotage of their country and our planet.
I mean if you go to the relevant lemmy thread, you will read the literally exact same arguments they used back then.
Ten years ago, idiot American right wingers used to argue that oil spills weren't a big deal, because petroleum is a natural substance. I'm kind of waiting for this argument to resurface among European and especially German "leftists."
