I have started a work-in-progress template of their original idea. @Chives@lemmy.whynotdrs.org made a lot of great points, in a comment below, that have yet to be added.

PSD File Can Be Downloaded/Viewed Here:

An ape in SS is giving these out at the new movie that seems to have Griffin suing Sony over.

Any interest in these over here?

I could maybe have it scanned into a .docx instead so we can add the Lemmy, WHYDRS, and DRSGME?

It's a nice idea to have as a quick handout! Great idea to post this here and get some ideas flowing.

Would be glad if our sites were added as possible welcoming resources.

Some thoughts on the other content I'd want to update, if we rewrite for other folks to use:

  1. Let's mention Chewy when talking about RCs past, and how they successfully took some market share from Amazon. It's a huge name and a story people resonate with.
  2. It's 25% or 1/4 that retail investors are disclosed to own by GME, not 33% or 1/3rd. This needs to be updated.
  3. Might remove the 'hedge funds never closed' line, this is something which we can't actually prove using public data and a sentence that is probably meaningless to most people.
  4. Would love to add some citations for the second section, specifically the recent SEC bulletin which explains the ownership types. Could perhaps include a brief line about each of the three (street name, direct registration, certificated)
  5. I'd say instead that transfer agents are responsible to track ownership using the issuer ledger - and that is what defines 'real' share ownership.
  6. We need to add a line about terminating plan enrollment, since you can have 0 plan shares and 1,000 book shares but still be enrolled in the plan if you have a limit sell open or if you are DRIP enabled.
  7. In the last section, let's specify that GiveAshare is best if you do not live in America. For Americans, you can purchase through Computershare with an initial investment using any domestic bank account. If you do not live in America, GiveAshare is best and then an account like Wise can be used for subsequent purchases. In either case, you can also DRS an initial share to open an account, but this is often more expensive than GiveAshare for international investors and it is cheaper than GiveAshare for domestic investors.

At the bottom would be a great place for the DRSGME and WhyDRS resource pages, perhaps our other empirical source at Computershared.net now that we have that up and running again.

Either way - a handout flier is a nice idea. Would be glad to host on our sites once we have it together!

Heard. I'll be 100%, I didn't bother proof reading it as I figured a total overhaul would be better anyway.

Has GME DD put out any new reports since their original/popular pdf?

I would love a professional write-up, to distill key points, for the smooth brains :).

I'll consider a works cited in grey smaller font at the bottom for any citations people might want.
