Like ever? I feel like it’s almost guaranteed the more money the worse you become. I know this isn’t very dialectic but it’s true.

Kinda depends on what you mean by "good person." Not everyone who's well off is a moustache-twirling porky, but they do all tend to be out of touch. As they say, it's difficult to make someone understand something when their paycheck depends on them not understanding it. Generally, the higher up you are the more things you need to not understand (unless you're a sociopath, ofc), and there's a lot of questions you have no reason to ask and plenty of grifters ready to supply easy answers. The problem is that "trying to help" when you don't have an accurate picture of the world is often counter-productive and harmful. But there's also an element of motivated reasoning so you can't really say they're blameless, and it's not really much consolation when you're on the other side of it - if anything it's all the more frustrating.

Part of the problem with the question is that people with money are often very good on a totally surface level, it's a side effect of never being stressed out ever. They'll be polite to you, maybe even generous on an interpersonal level, and then you hear some real opinions and the Hitler comes out.
