That's not just brown people. But white people get the "we assume you're christian by default" credits. You don't have to explain that Bill Clinton or Donald Trump are Christians to anybody.

I can't help but think you get a little in your own head when you're "The Guy". Or even just ancillary to "The Guy". Like, how else could you have gotten here by this litany of historical happy accidents if not for Divine Providence?

Eric Adams really shines with it. You get that vibe off Mitt Romney as well. I have to assume Obama is at least a bit touched by his own mythology.
