I'm still stuck there, stuck in an infinite loop of getting wrapped up in new quests.

I sold my loot and headed on on the first Constellation quest. Which IIRC involved talking to someone in New Atlantis, I was just supposed to talk to them but somehow I got mixed up and wound up joining their faction which sent me to another star system on a mission. I figured out that I didn't need to join that faction when Sarah remarked that she didn't like that I joined them. But it all worked out, just like Skyrim you can be in the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood and The Companions and such at the same time.
