I have no idea, but I remembered that the fursona they invariably put on their youtube channel is called a rantsona.
Whilst googling for this I found a rantsona generator.

Lol. I took that generator code and plugged it into OpenAI
It doesn't have to be necessarily a furry persona for it to be a rantsona, though it often is. I'm pretty sure it got a start with all the youtube atheists that transitioned over to wider content and flipping out over gamergate. The Armored Skeptic is a rantsona and that's just 2 pngs, a medieval helmet and a suit.
This is the inspiration I needed to try and make an OpenAI gamergate channel just to see if they'd listen to an actual npc
