Emma Coronel Aispuro, the wife of Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, is set to be released from a US prison on Wednesday, officials said.

Coronel was sentenced to three years in prison in November 2021 after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and money laundering charges related to her husband’s narcotics empire. Her sentence also included four years of supervised release and a forfeiture of $1.5 million.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not elaborate on specific release plans,” a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told CNN.

This isn't racism. She's pretty but she is brown skinned. This is about money. El Chapo had billions that the US and Mexican Government's wanted but couldn't find.

His Wife was in control of the Money Laundering, she knew where the money went and was being kept. She bought her way out with several billion dollars of El Chapo's drug money.

If she knows where all the money is why tf are we letting her walk? That bitch should be in a 5'² concrete cell until her lip collagen breaks down in 300 years.

If she knows where all the money is why tf are we letting her walk?

It was part of her Plea Deal which you can read here.

Specifically Section 5 entitled "Criminal Forfeiture". It doesn't state it directly but it's clear she was required to cough up the location of El Chapo's missing billions and if she didn't then the Plea Deal could be revoked.

You're missing the forest for the trees, and you're not telling me anything I don't already know. Her plea deal was too lenient, lots of other people in 100% identical circumstances would have been given the "deal" of ten years before being eligible for parole.

Her plea deal was too lenient

I agree with you on that, we just disagree about why she got such a lenient plea deal.
