Thanks for the extra links! I didn't realise she had an account on tumblr
I still haven't got my head round how tumblr is supposed to work even though I have an account there, I thought it was mostly 'fan/art appreciation' stuff (like pintrest) rather than the actual person themselves, posting their own work....I'm going to have to sit down, and try to focus properly to mentally power through it all
I think you are right in that there are more "repost-what-I-like" tumblr pages than OC ones. But there are still a lot of artists posting their own art.
In my experience, tumblr is more focused on pixel art, retro stuff and webcomics (I see less collage or traditional art), but that could very likely be a consequence of my own interests.
A list of random examples of tumblrs with OC content, in no specific order:

Web comics:
Brilliant, thanks for the list, I'm going to have a serious look and see what I can find, cheers!
One last suggestion in case you don't know: the main features I love from Tumblr (because ALL tumblr pages have them) are:
/archive
" to the base URL of any tumblr site to see a list of all posts with a consistent style.EDIT: If the URL is in the format
https://www.tumblr.com/username
, you need to change it tohttps://username.tumblr.com/archive
/rss
" to the URL to get the RSS Feed.Thank you, you've been incredibly helpful as always :)
I'm just starting out on my RSS 'journey' after reading a post somewhere on here a few days ago that explained what they are, with any luck I'll be able to curate a feed of art and other interesting things
