An alpha is supposed to be feature complete, and the promised 100 star systems at launch are absent except for one, one, incomplete star system. A staggering number of the most expensive ships and their promised gameplay loops are also absent. Calling it an alpha stretches the definitions in a way that is lawsuit worthy... which is why the Roberts family lawyers up so heavily, like they did during their legal struggle with Crytek.
this is too deep lore for my understanding... what did they do with crytek
