There was just a small controversy with the way the game handled character sexualities, which has been fixed. I don't think there was anything malicious there
Huh, I thought there was more than that, but reading up on it, it looks like it was kind of overblown. Maybe the rimredditors' love of cannibalism and organ farms got me mixed up or I was thinking of the Factorio guy.
It also has canonically trans backstories. Not from the developer, iirc it was an early sponsorship thing where if you funded the development you could create backstories that would be in the game
Yeah, it was from the name in the game thing. Ig they could have denied those backstories if they were chuds.
