NOTE: I am NOT a medical essentialist. You DO NOT need to want or be on HRT to be trans. Beginning HRT was important for me and was the first time it felt 'real', and since 9/11 is a funny day, I chose that to mark my tranniversary.

I spent a lot of time in the week leading up to it coming up with the funniest handful of songs to listen as and after I took my first pills. I listened to these in a pharmacy bathroom around 1:30 PM four years ago.
