They can’t. People like Biden and Pelosi are true believers of neoliberalism. They have pledged their entire lives to be the loyal servants of the One True God, Capital. Making money is really only secondary, but carrying out the duties to satisfy the God of the Free Market, that’s what arouses these religious fanatics.
