Does that include stuck scripts? That might solve a long running problem I regularly encounter in one of my modded games.
Swapping genders usually involves a model swap, and animations are attached to the model, so it's a good bet for animation issues, specifically. Giving yourself horns or a tail will probably do it too, if applicable in your game, but turning your gender off and back on again is funnier.
I don't think it's terribly likely to fix whichever bugs you have (you said they were stuck scripts, which may or may not be tied to any animations). The other classically useful way to unstick things is going through a fast travel or hitting a loading screen. Most games clear out all sorts of garbage during those. (See panic blood moons in BotW.)
Unfortunately loading screens do not fix scripts, they run through them. In a lot of cases a stuck script can mean reloading to an earlier save is the only fix I know of, otherwise it literally picks up where it left off when you load. If you turn on papyrus logging for these sometimes it will output monstrous 60,000 line logs of just error after error because of the rate at which they run.
