the 3rd episode with the simulated game was like nega-ASMR and really fucked with my head. i was at work and seriously wanted to fuck someone up.
What's the Game series about anyway? I haven't listened to it yet but I have them downloaded.
focuses primarily on Synanon and how it's the root of modern rehab systems, particularly through use of the "game". it's like the inverse of group therapy, designed to break everyone down and never build you back up. all because the founder of synanon wanted exploitable slaves so he could do capitalism really hard. also it touches a lot on brace's experiences in that kidnap "troubled teens" hell he went through since it used some of the same model.
